We have partnered with Documenting Change and talked with Mitchell Raff, the director of Clothing the Homeless, for an in-depth interview about his work, mission, and the people he serves.

We explored everything from his personal journey when operating Clothing the Homeless, to the unique way he refers to the individuals his organization supports – VIPs (Very Important People). Mitchell shared powerful insights into the challenges of homelessness, the importance of support from residents, and the critical services his team provides to help individuals rebuild their lives.

As part of the interview, we also got a glimpse of Mitchell’s locker – where he stores items he’s preparing to donate. These small but significant acts reflect the heart and soul of the Clothing the Homeless mission.
